Food for Valentine's Day!

Looking for some yummy treats that are great for Valentine's Day, but don't want to blow your healthy eating habbit? 

Here's a few fun ideas that will keep you covered from morning till night!


Pancakes

These pancakes are a very fun way to start off the day.  If you're really talented to can try to make them into heart shapes.

These are really easy to make, are super healthy, and really nutritious.  That and kids love them!  Get the recipe here.











Homemade Pizza

Don't let this made from scratch recipe intimidate you.  I love this pizza crust recipe because it is so easy to make, and you can start making it only an hour and a half before dinner and still have it ready on time.

Peanut Butter Cups

These seriously taste like Reese's Peanut Butter cups, and are really easy to make!  If you are really wanting something heart shaped, try making a big flat pan of these instead of in the muffin tin.  Line it with parchment paper and put in the refrigerator instead of the freezer.

When the peanut butter cups are firm, use a heart shaped cookie cutter to make the shapes, but don't take them out.  Immediately transfer the pan to the freezer.  Once frozen break apart the heart shapes.  I can't guarantee it will work, but it sounds like fun.
