DIY Christmas Gifts on a Budget

Here are some DIY gifts that are easy to make, and budget friendly...

Lip Balm

This lip balm easily compares to anything you can buy in the store, at a fraction of the price.  I made these for about $0.75 each.  There is the basic lip balm recipe that you can add a little flavor to.

Then there's this great recipe that is more like lip gloss, has a slight tint to it, and yummy flavor too!

Epsom Salt

Epsom salt is great for sore muscles, or if your body needs a boost of magnessium.  Pour about a cup of epsom salt into warm bath water and enjoy the soak.

I added a few drops of Eucalyptus oil to these for both the scent, and that it is very relaxing for muscles.

This probably cost about $0.25 to make.

Lotion

I have made this lotion recipe many times, and the quality of the lotion is awesome!  So far my favorite combination is the coconut oil with peach tea because it smells so good.   With the coconut oil it probably cost me less than $3 to make about 9 oz. of great quality lotion.

Recently I have been making it with a stick blender instead of a food processor.  The food processor is great, but the stick blender is much easier to clean up, and really easy to use too.

Here's the easy how to make your own lotion video I made!

Enjoy!
