Homemade "Larabars"

These bars are a great healthy snack treat any time of the year!  What makes them a fantastic summer treat is that they are super easy to make, and very portable for outings.  My kids swarm me and start begging for them as soon as they see me making them!


Homemade Cherry Pie “Larabars”

I like to mix up the fruit flavors in this recipe.  If you do this consider how sweet the two dried fruits will taste when mixed together.

My favorite combination is to use 1/2 cup of dried sweetened cranberries, and a 1/2 cup of dried apricots (the squishy kind).
