Healthy Popsicle and Smoothie Recipes

Enjoy quenching your summer thirst with some vitamin packed, and delicious, smoothies!  Oh yeah!
 
                                                                                        
Banana Fontana Strawberry Buster

One Banana
1 cup frozen organic strawberries
4 cups organic apple juice (or apple/ grape juice for sweeter results)
1 scoop Trader Joe's Super Green Drink Mix- optional

Add enough liquid till all ingredients are covered by about an inch with juice.
Blend till very liquidy and enjoy!


Blurasgo

1 cup frozen organic blueberries
1 cup frozen organic rasberries
1 cup frozen mango chunks
4 cups organic apple juice (or apple/ grape juice for sweeter results)
1 scoop Trader Joe's Super Green Drink Mix- optional

Add enough liquid till all ingredients are covered by about an inch with juice.
Blend till very liquidy and enjoy!



Orange Caesar

1 orange peeled
1 cup thawed from frozen, concentrated organic orange juice
1 cup filtered water
1 cup milk (any type of milk)
1 tsp. vanilla
10-12 ice cubes

*(I have a large blender, if your's is on the smaller side you may want to 1/2 the recipe to avoid an eruption while blending. :)

Blend till very liquidy and enjoy!


An added bonus to these is you can freeze them in popsicle molds for a great summer treat!  Side note on that-  Anything frozen seems to have less flavor, so you may want to add a small amount of raw honey to the mix.
